AWARDS 2007

Congratulations to all the boys who won a trophy Christopher Hinson Player of The Year & Most Improved, Dennis Lindsay Players Player, Darren McAllister Top Goal Scorer, Ryan McAllister Most Consistent & Andrew O'Brien Fair Play / Sportsman.

A great was had by all and we would like to thank the parents for their attendance, we would also like to thank Esporta Milngavie for the venue and the staff for all their help also would like them for the raffle prizes of a meal for 2 and a days pass for 2.

Oban Trip

Oban 03 have cancelled the under 14s age group due to their team folding and other teams pulling out leaving just 2 teams.

2007 Awards Night

Our Awards Night this year will take place on Sat 9th June at Esporta Milngavie, 6.30pm - 11pm

No Player will be admitted without a parent, and we hope to see all you parents there to support your sons. Tis years event promises to be a good one as we are hoping to get some surpirise Guests to present some of the awards.

Ticket details will be posted to parents in the coming weeks.

Under 17's Folded

It is with deep regret that we have had to fold the under 17s team. We would like to wish all the boys who remained with us, every success for the future and would also like to thank them for their Commitment, Dedication and Loyality to Bearsden Rovers.

By now all you parents would have recieved your letters regarding our Recycling Appaeal we have signed up to. At training every week we have a recycling box for you to drop your used toners, cartridges and old mobile phones into.

We will recieve points for all items which can be redeemed for kit such as training kit, strips, water bottles, kit bags etc....

So come on Mums & Dads get your friends, family and workplaces involved and support your son's club. For more information on the Appeal click on the logo above.

Well done to our under 13's who all played brilliantly and were runners up in the OBAN 03 Tournament. All of the boys had a fantastic time and we would like to thank our hosts, Oban 03 Iain, Dawn, Fiona and all for their hospitality. Hopefully all being well we might even be asked to return next year!

Kits 4 Kids!!

As you all know we were not accepted onto the scheme yet again!!! But, after sending a letter into the Daily Record we recieved a voucher for £75 off for some kit. So hopefully we will use it for training kit.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Well done to all you boys who completed the 12 miles on Sunday, everyone seemed to have a good time along the road. Also well done to Carolanne, Liz, Glenn, Scott and Jasons mum Anne and Christophers mum.

As you all done so well we hare hoping to do the next 14 miles in September... You up for it lads??? There will pictures on the site soon of the day and as soon as you all hand in your sponsor forms we will find out how much we raised.

We are meeting at 9.30am at Milngavie Town Centre at the clock,

West Highland Way - Sponsored Walk

On Saturday 25th March we will be doing a sponsorsed walk - walking the first part of the West Highland Way ( 12 Miles).

Sponsor forms will be handed out at training on Tues 6th March, we hope to raise enough money to help with getting new kit for the team.

Parents are more than welcome to join in on the day- we will be leaving Milngavie Town Centre at 10am and hopefully all walkers will make it to the finish in Drymen.
