After sundays cup tie, drastic action must be taken as the team are not even competing anymore. Not enough players giving 100%. More players will be brought in to strengthen the team as we must improve.

Martin 16/9/06 v West Park Utd

What can I say?  A comprehensive thrashing by a very good, strong Barochan side. A few of our players gave up after 20 minutes.  Hopefully, lessons can be learned from this defeat and a lot of hard work is required at training. On the positive side, we are still a new team competing with teams that have been playing for years and we are still short of players, so with a stronger squad we can begin to compete in this league.

First Game of the season lads and you all done well, a couple of missed chances but you all played together as a team.  Lets keep that going and make more of the chances we create.

After Saturdays cup tie against a very well organised, well managed Erskine F.C. - unfortunately we came away with no goals, although the performance did not reflect the scoresheet.

Everyone of you gave 100% today especially Darren McAllister - M.O.M. , Jamie McGillivray, Ryan McAllister and Ben MacNiel.  We are glad to see that after the coaches talk at training you all took on board what was said and took it to the game.  Lots of Hard but fair tackling, awarness on the ball and man marking.

Lets build on that lads and keep working at it. - well done on a great team effort.

Mark & Sean Paul - 10/2/07

Another shocking performance from the team.  2-0 down after 5 minutes we were always going to struggle.  Same old problems, 2nd to the ball, not enough commitment and lack of fitness.

A lot more effort is required from everyone if we are to move forward, changes will be made in training and some new players arriving  and some players released in order for the team to improve.

Martin & Mark 3/2/07 v Glenbrae Colts

What a game against Port Glasgow, you all played very well against a well organised team.  There was some very good football played and were playing much better as a team.

Lets see more of that in the New Year boys!!

More effort is needed if we are to avoid defeats like this. We scored first, then sat back and let them play. You cannot do that with a team top of the league, there was half a team out there giving 100%. The others were just jogging about and its not good enough.
More players will be brought in to strengthen the team, we have some very good players and the others are letting them down. We gotta work for each other. Martin scored with a great free kick, Darren had another good game & our strikers played very well, never giving up and prepared to take on defenders and not afraid to tackle. Lets look forward to the next match & try and take something from it.
